Pinsent Masons advises syndicate of Taiwanese banks on funding of New South Wales warehouse project

Multinational law firm Pinsent Masons has advised KGI Bank Co., Ltd, Taishin International Bank Co., Ltd and O-Bank Limited on the above A$100 million funding of the construction of a warehouse and distribution facility in Sydney’s western suburbs.

The syndicate of banks are funding the construction of the circa 37,000 square metre facility at Punchbowl for Institutional Australian industrial fund manager, which invests in transforming underutilised industrial assets near major urban centres across the Asia Pacific. 

The deal continues Pinsent Masons’ work with Taiwanese banks investing in Australia and the syndicate of banks’ relationship with Institutional Australian industrial fund manager. The majority of the parties were involved in the to build a warehouse and logistics facility in Milperra in Sydney’s western suburbs in 2023. 

The Pinsent Masons team on the latest matter included finance special counsel Melanie Hunter, partner Jim Hunwick and associates Migo Sanchez and Richard Beauchamp.
